Letter from the Director
As the Director of ARC, I am pleased to welcome you warmly. Our mission is to help parents take positive steps that will ultimately lead to the safe return of their children. I have learned myself during my time here how terrifying, emotionally taxing, and overwhelming it is for a parent who has a child removed from their care.
I will do my best to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and safe expressing themselves. From the moment you enter ARC doors, I want you to begin thinking about how you are going to fulfill the requests made of you to bring your family back together. With the guidance of a coach, you can find the support and resources you need at ARC and in the broader community.
Above all else, I want you to consider your talents and strengths, considering that your lived experiences make you the authority in your life. My deepest desire is that your participation in ARC helps you realize you are not alone.
